Crystal Asian is an absolute gem and I’m so happy to have them in Buffalo. The interior is lovely, the larger turntable seating is very nice, and the service is always fantastic. We usually order a variety of dim sum, authentic Chinese and Chinese-American and it is all delicious; and the menu variety is fantastic! You can have Sichuan, Cantonese, Hunan, etc., it’s nice to have access to different types of Chinese cuisine. The portion sizes are massive and the vegetarian dishes are lovely as well. Favorites: Eggplant in garlic sauce, chicken and bean curd casserole, Golden Broth Fish, fish congee

This is my second time ordering food from Crystal. I have mixed reviews; mostly great but one dish was a downer and left me very very upset! 🙄🙄 Positives— The Chicken Fried Rice was great, I absolutely loved it! The Mongolian Beef was one of the best I ever had. It was smoky, not extremely spicy; and had the best texture with the onions. We also ordered the Crab Rangoons and those were a hit too. The quantity of all the dishes were great!!! So based in that, all the five stars! I will come back for the Mongolian Beef and the rice! The negative was the Schezwan Wontons in Chili Oil. I love wontons, and I think that was my first preference when I look out for Chinese restaurants. However, as you can see (picture attached), the wontons were extremely doughy, not properly shaped and looked amateurish. The filling inside was for one teaspoon and smelled weird. The sauce was thick and unfortunately didn’t taste of any flavored oil. It was so so disappointing and I couldn’t chew through the doughy exterior. I won’t ever order this one. I was quite upset but the rest of the dishes were a saving grace. 🥹🥹 Edit: seems like the owner got upset I left a bad review. But it was an honest one

The best experience I've had in Buffalo here. I've always came here with a large group and the service was quick. Their dishes are also absolutely delicious and also very fairly priced. Definitely a place you want to return frequently! You should make a reservation for big groups, but you can always do walk-ins for a small one. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this place and can't recommend it more 😊

I'm so freaking happy! I had never heard of Crystal Asian Cuisine before last night. We stumbled across them because it was pretty late for dinner and our regular Chinese food place was closed. Crystal stays open until 1 am! They open at 4 pm, just an fyi. We got a bunch of stuff and everything was delicious. Literally the best beef lo mein I've had since I moved here six years ago. I've been just settling with it at other places so this was an exciting discovery! We also ordered sesame shrimp. It wasn't like other sesame dishes we've gotten. It was a pink sauce that was similar to sweet and sour, but it was very good and the shrimp were large and plump and cooked perfectly. We tried their fried dough just on a whim and it's like nothing I've had before... it's a nice little add on for $3.50. They have American Chinese and also authentic dishes, which is fun. Prices are in line with other Chinese food restaurants and portions are pretty generous. We'll definitely be back...like, hopefully very soon!

Crystal Asian Cuisine is such a hidden gem for both Traditional Chinese and American Chinese food. All the food we have had here has been super tasty and comes out quickly. I would highly recommended you come and try.
